Besides, we also offer total solutions of technical services, Internet consultancy and software application development. Since 1997, we have been Microsoft Certified Partner. We have been engaged in the provision of online information and e-commerce solutions based on the popular Microsoft solutions. As early as 1998, we have piloted in the early broadband application development in Hong Kong. We are proud to be providing solutions to the Hong Kong Transport Department for the Road Traffic Information Service. We have designed and built for them the first website in Hong Kong which delivers Real Time Traffic Images to the general public (http://www.info.gov.hk/td/trafficinfo/index.htm). Following this, in co-operation with Smartone Mobile Communications Limited, we have implemented the world's first live traffic images display via mobile phones and PDA (http://www.986.com/smartraffic.htm). Property Information Service is another business area in which we have been a major market player. We have been using 986 as the brand name for the property information provider since our establishment. By way of 986 Property Information Portal, we have consolidated all property related information, including up-to-date market intelligence, property listings and transaction records analysis for Hong Kong. In early 2000, we launched the innovative Valuation Online Service (http://value.986.com), in which Abbreviated Valuation Certificate is available instantly 24x7 over the Internet, each of which fully endorsed by chartered surveyors. In 2000, we have successfully brought in a strategic investor, Transpac Capital Limited. Transpac is one of the oldest, largest and most prominent private equity investment firms in Asia. It was the first venture to establish a fully integrated investment operation spanning the entire region. Transpac invests in the Asia-Pacific region in private companies with high growth potential. Many of their investees have been listed or merged with public listed companies. Amongst them are Acer Computer, CCT Telecom(0138), Tingyi(0322), Yip's Pota International(LifeTec)(1180), Computer and Technologies (0046). In August 2001, we were awarded by Microsoft as the winner for The Greatest Leaper of the Year 2001 among all the Microsoft channel partners in Hong Kong. In mid 2002, in cooperation with Microsoft, we launched a series of marketing activities to promote the newly designed and advanced Microsoft computer keyboards, mice and game controllers. Also in 2002,
we are appointed the authorized distributor of Targus. Targus is the
specialist of computer bags and mobile computing accessories. Targus
Rakgear backpack is endorsed by World Chiropractic Alliance for its
innovative Rak system. We have already successfully established extensive
network in major cities Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing,
Suzhou, etc and the coverage is still on the rise.
